Rare Old Yellow Naga Eye Thai Crystal Gem Buddha Amulet Magic Handmade Sterling Silver Pendant.

The Naga is a mythological serpent of Buddhist legend that Thais belief still resides in the depths of the Mekong River. The Naga Eye amulets are from Northeastern Thailand. The properties of this amulet is when placed over something, the gem magnifies the things, but when faraway images are viewed through the crystal, they become inverted. The center of the crystal is more translucent than the outer edges and refracts light into an eye-shaped outline (difficult to describe, but very apparent in person) which gives the gem a very ethereal appearance. These stones are very highly prized by Thais for their beauty, rarity and reputed sacred and healing powers.
